More than just an informational portal, Portal-G aims at providing departmental managers a set of tools to manage their department's digital affairs. The module based configuration allows unlimited number of "applets" to be added to the portal by simply adding a few records into the configuration table.
At present the following modules are available:

File Manager: Organise your files over the internet with File Explorer like interface

InfoBase: Create databases for record management with user-defined fields

Change Manager: Document and manage change events (or TODO items), using
configurable task-centric templates
- Global Network Config Database: Maintain global network configuration, routes, subnets, costs, SLA contracts etc
- HTML document: Publish any type of HTML content

News and Announcements: Keep a rolling panel of news items

POP Feeder for News and Announcements: Publish your news items by sending an
email to a designated address
- Link: Publish a list of html links
Portal-G runs on any Windows platform with .NET 2.0 and requires MS SQL Server
2000 or above. It can be configured to use Forms or Windows Authentication
security.

| Emailing from Your Applications Made Easy |
If you develop any application that sends emails, you'll want Mailer Service so
that all you need to do to send emails is simply add a record into the mailer
database (i.e. run a Mailer's stored procedure), and Mailer Service will do the
rest for you.
Witih Mailer Service you can:
